Privacy Policy

TX ED Consultants, LLC ("TX ED Consultants," "we," "our," or "us") operates the ClimeTrax mobile application ("ClimeTrax"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use ClimeTrax.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

ClimeTrax does not require an account and does not collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Student information

  • School records

  • Contacts

  • Photos

  • Health information

  • Financial information

  • Advertising identifiers

ClimeTrax does not sell personal information and does not use information for advertising tracking.

2. Location Information

ClimeTrax uses location services to provide location-specific weather information.

When location services are enabled:

  • Your device provides location information to ClimeTrax.

  • Latitude and longitude may be transmitted to weather service providers to retrieve weather conditions.

  • Location information is used only to provide app functionality.

  • TX ED Consultants does not maintain a location database or track users.

You may disable location access at any time through iOS Settings.

3. Weather Data

ClimeTrax uses third-party weather services to obtain environmental conditions needed for WBGT calculations.

Weather requests may include:

  • Latitude

  • Longitude

  • Weather-related request information

ClimeTrax calculates WBGT and safety recommendations on the device.

Practice records and WBGT decisions are not uploaded to TX ED Consultants.

4. Practice Records and User-Entered Information

ClimeTrax may store information locally on your device, including:

  • Practice sessions

  • WBGT readings

  • Practice times

  • Break records

  • Compliance information

  • Practice notes

  • Practice season information

This information remains stored locally unless you choose to export or share it.

5. Reports and Sharing

ClimeTrax allows users to create reports and share them using the iOS sharing system.

Shared reports may include:

  • Practice information

  • WBGT readings

  • Compliance records

  • Notes

  • Location information associated with recorded sessions

TX ED Consultants does not control how third-party applications handle information after you choose to share it.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

ClimeTrax Pro subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store.

TX ED Consultants does not receive or store:

  • Credit card information

  • Banking information

  • Apple Account passwords

Subscription eligibility and purchases are handled through Apple's StoreKit services.

7. Notifications

ClimeTrax may use local notifications for:

  • Practice timers

  • Break reminders

  • Safety alerts

Notifications are created and stored on your device. ClimeTrax does not operate a remote push notification server.

8. Children's Privacy

ClimeTrax does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The application is intended for adults responsible for managing outdoor activities, including coaches, administrators, and activity supervisors.

9. Data Security

ClimeTrax uses Apple-provided security technologies and stores app data within the protected application environment of your device.

No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and TX ED Consultants cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices

You may:

  • Disable location permissions

  • Disable notifications

  • Delete stored practice records

  • Delete the application and remove locally stored data

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
